Nourish to Flourish #atMDD

On August 17, 2018 CADA hosted an all-day experience, Nourish to Flourish, at the Miami Design District’s floral boutique, Roses et Pivoines.

We created a sacred space for about 50 guests to enjoy three distinct mindful workshops throughout the day which aimed to highlight the importance of nourishing themselves in order to grow and thrive.

Deets

All guests were welcomed with Health-Ade Kombucha and sweet vegan bites by Chef Chloe and The Vegan Cafe. Throughout the event, we explored sustainable luxury fashion with Neushop who provided a video presentation on elemental wardrobes and had several of their 100% Tanguis Cotton premium quality basics on display for purchase. We also awakened the mind with Organic Essante beauty products by Emena Spa.

Workshops

Garden Therapy: Guests got their hands dirty and worked with their hands to create and take home their own lavish terrarium with Roses et Pivoines’ founder, Edi Soledad. The therapeutic benefits of garden environments have been documented since ancient times. It’s been said by horticultural therapists that digging in soil and tending a garden can improve your mental and physical health.

Artesian Recipes: Learning the art of Soap-Making with Retox founder, Candace Arroyo. We customized our own handmade, natural artesian beauty soap using herbs, flowers, and essential oils using a simple melt-and-pour base.

Ritual Rising Meditation: Through this practice hosted by Moon + Jai, guests allowed themselves to show up for life in a more empowered and grounded way. In this workshop we crafted our own sacred ritual to honor our creativity, defining and anchoring self-care practices and explored inspired writing. We topped it off with a heart-opening meditation. Guests received a beautiful fully charged crystal to take home.

Results

The day turned out to be a successful intimate and lovely experience resulting in brand awareness for Miami Design District tenants. After event, the boutique increased its sales by 60% that week and created stronger relationships with the partner brands.
