Elastika is a site-specific installation by Zaha Hadid commissioned in 2005, which aims to mutate the historical building built in 1921. With four floors high and 25,000 sq ft of space, the existing building has two major implied architectural moves: horizontal circulation on layered mezzanines and four story vertical columns that stretch upwards to embrace the central atrium.
We're absolutely in awe of this iconic venue. Not only does it fit more than 1,000 guests, but there's nothing like it in Miami.
