What is Earth Day?
National Geographic describes Earth Day as an annual celebration that honors the achievements of the environmental movement and raises awareness of the need to protect Earth’s natural resources for future generations. Earth Day is celebrated on April 22 in the United States, and on either April 22 or the day the spring equinox occurs throughout the rest of the world.
CADA and Sustainability
Our mission is to facilitate the world’s transition towards an existence that’s conscious of sustainable responsibility and holistic wellness. Purpose-driven and innovative strategies are becoming the norm across brands seeking to engage consumers and ensure long-term success. Our mission statement has always meant to leverage this new norm and help brands transition to a more sustainable model while being transparent throughout their marketing journey.
Our eco-friendly efforts and eagerness to help others have always been on the front line of our passion for the environment, humanity, and knowledge. Camila is the one who optimizes ideas, sales, and operations; and Juliana creates meaningful experiences, designs, and campaigns.
The rest of our team comprises leaders in the sustainability and creative sectors who aim to achieve purpose-driven growth through value-innovation strategies that align a company’s business models and portfolios to sustainability.
One of our senior Sustainable Business Consultants, Barbara Garcia, is the leader in the sustainability & green building sector, leading the U.S. Green Building Council in South Florida. A LEED Green Associate since 2013, TRUE Zero Waste Advisor, and realtor are passionate about innovative green building materials. Her portfolio includes work with private providers, engineering firms, solar companies, joint power government agencies, non-profits, universities, municipalities, and other local consulting firms.
Moving forward we have four main pillars we’re focusing on regarding sustainability:
- Materiality + Positioning – Understand and apply sustainability to the brand in a way that is aligned with its objectives and the industry in which it operates
- Strategy Development – Solve problems, turn ideas into reality, or lead change in the market, while pursuing conscious growth
- Carbon Footprint + Offsetting – Connect the strategy with carbon reduction and “offsetting” while raising awareness of climate change and positioning brand
- Customer Experiences – Wellness Retreats and Activations with a purpose will highlight sustainability as a differentiator and cultivate greater customer loyalty
